The Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Partners with Forth EMS Public Company Limited to Enhance Student Potential through Cutting-Edge Technology On Friday, April 24, 2026 , the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University , officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Forth EMS Public Company Limited , under the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and Digital Technology program. This collaboration aims to develop talent for the future digital industry, focusing on integrating knowledge, experience, and resources from both organizations to jointly drive academic activities, teaching and learning, and the tangible development of digital technology. The signing ceremony marked a significant milestone, honored by Associate Professor Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit , Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Ms. Laksika Amatanon , Chief Human Resources Officer of Forth EMS Public Company Limited, who served as the official signatories. The ceremony was also witnessed by Assistant Professor Dr. Attawith Sudsang , Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, and Ms. Amporn Chiewchansamut , Human Resources Manager of Forth EMS Public Company Limited. Forth EMS Public Company Limited is a leading company in the electronics industry, providing end-to-end Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) that encompass design, development, manufacturing, and assembly of printed circuit boards ( PCB/PCBA ), as well as product testing. Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Western Digital Storage Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University signed a memorandum of understanding with Western Digital Storage Technologies (Thailand) Ltd., a global leader in innovation and the production of digital storage devices, including Hard Disk Drives and Solid State Drives. This collaboration includes the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and Digital Technology program, aiming to establish a structured link between the industry and workforce development in Thailand’s digital engineering sector. The signing ceremony was led by Associate Professor Dr. Wittaya Wannasuphoprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering , and Mr. Philip Bernard, Senior Vice President of HDD Operations at Western Digital Storage Technologies (Thailand) Ltd. , as signatories, with Assistant Professor Dr. Attawit Sudsaeng, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering , and Ms. Nathalita Poopirom, Vice President and Managing Director of HDD Operations, as witnesses.
