Chulalongkorn University Computer Alumni Association (CUCA)
The Chulalongkorn University Computer Alumni Club was founded in 1982 as a central gathering place for alumni and those associated with the Department of Computer Engineering because so many of its graduates have gone on to work in computer-related professions, becoming an important force in development throughout the nation in both the public and private sectors.
The Department of Computer Engineering was founded on June 12, 1982, which also happened to be Bangkok's 200th anniversary. The club's first president was Dr. Sawasdi Saengbangpla, an associate professor.
With Assistant Professor Dr. Yanyong Tengamnuay serving as its first president, the group carried on with its operations until March 6, 2009, when it was formally registered as the Chulalongkorn University Computer Alumni Association.
